Jerson Andrade - Men's Soccer

WACO, Texas – Jerson Andrade of Texas College garnered recognition as the RRAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Aug. 19-25, while Alvaro Garcia of LSU Alexandria (La.) received the RRAC Defensive Player of the Week honor for the same dates. This is the first set of conference awards for the 2019 men's soccer season.

Andrade provided half of the Steers' scoring in a 4-0 victory over Oklahoma Panhandle State University. The junior forward from Houston netted a pair of goals in the season opener. Andrade scored three goals last year, finishing the season with a goal in each of TXC's last two games.
